I went to meet Claire & Co. the next morning, before they head back to Virginia. The walk from the tram to their place was beautiful, and I got my first experience of Fall. Autumn in Australia is brown, dry, and the leaves are full of spiders. Even in the UK, the colours aren’t this lovely.
It’s autumn in New York. The colours are changing — yellow, the browns, the greens, the oranges. And that’s just the tap water.
We went thrift shopping and I got a genuine vintage 60s dress for $7.50! I was very pleased. We said our goodbyes and I went off to another thrift shop, then spent the evening at a Brooklyn Vendor’s Market.
A post shopping pint at Birdy’s.
Before I got home I wandered into a supermarket. I thought I was just going in to get Shampoo, but it turned out to be a museum experience, the whole place was full of things from the TV shows. I spent far too long in there than I care to admit. I headed back to Amanda’s place for a whole tub of Ben & Jerry’s Americorn Dream and trash TV with her housemate.
